Peoria held a ceremony to honor the victims of the September 11th attacks at the Riverfront Museum plaza on Friday, Sept.

11. The event paid tribute to local native Chip Chan and first responders - featuring speeches by community leaders like former Congressman Ray LaHood.

More than 200 bikers began a 465-mile ride from Peoria to Memphis on Thursday morning for the 20th annual St. Jude Ride, raising over $1,059,000 before celebrating Friday night at the hospital.

All proceeds supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
