Tri County Hunger Action Month offers events (for locals) to ease food insecurity.
Look for 'Lulu and the Hunger Monster' Story Times on Sept. 15 and Oct. 2, a food drive on Sept. 19 at Grand Prairie, and Hunger Walk on Sept. 26 at Donovan Park; sign-ups close Sept. 25.

Dave's Killer Bread brings back Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels after 7 years.
They are available at local grocery stores through November and are made with organic whole grains, offering 10 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber (responding to customer demand) for a seasonal twist.

GO Day returns to the Riverfront today from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The free event will showcase local art, sports, and culture with performances by the school drumline, Irish dance group, and theater, running alongside the Big Picture Peoria Street Festival.
🏛️ Government
The Illinois Department of Transportation announced a full closure of the Cedar Street Bridge starting Tuesday for additional work on the bridge joint, with the project expected to continue through November.
Motorists are urged to follow detour signs + plan extra travel time.
