EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Peoria Public Schools unveiled a 100,000 sqft dome space during the 11th annual 365 Breakfast at Peoria Stadium. The indoor facility, built at $8 million (grant funding covered half), is available for high school sports and community events. WMBD
- ➤ NAACP Peoria hosted an open house for high school students to sign up for its ACT-SO program — a mentorship and cultural competition that spotlights academic talents. Students who earn gold locally will advance to the national competition in Chicago in July. 25 News Now
