- ➤ A Peoria-based Braver Angels chapter will hold its first public meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 28 at the Peoria Public Library’s Lakeview Branch, where residents will join workshops to build skills for talking through differences & easing political tension. WCBU
- ➤ Greater Peoria Honor Flight announced its 2026 schedule for four round trips for local veterans to visit monuments in Washington, D.C. — Flights will depart on April 7, May 26, September 8 and October 20 from Peoria. 25 News Now
