- ➤ Gas prices in Peoria increased by 0.4 cents last week to average $2.84 on Monday while national averages fell 0.9 cents to $2.83; AAA Illinois data show local prices were 0.9 cents below last month and 38.8 cents lower than last year. 25 News Now

- ➤ Bradley University will break ground at 3 p.m. Friday on Clarissa Court to launch the donor-funded Zaleski Recreation Complex featuring pickleball courts, a sand volleyball court, and the Ken and Doris Kolb Pavilion — construction begins in March and finishes by September with a campus pickleball tournament to follow.
