EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Bradley University is preparing to open a new campus entrance next fall after raising nearly $200,000 for a decorative gateway at Main and University streets. The project will begin this spring with the demolition of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute building as events move to Westlake Hall. 25 News Now
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Peoria International Airport now charges a $45 fee for travelers without a Real ID to fly on domestic routes as a new TSA program takes effect since Feb. 1. Passengers with passports or military IDs are exempt. 25 News Now
- ➤ Attorney General Kwame Raoul announced Monday that a new statewide partnership with Amazon’s Ring & the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence will supply 1,000 cameras to survivors in all 102 counties. The effort builds on the Center for Prevention of Abuse in Peoria, which provides 48 cameras a year. 25 News Now
