  • A nonprofit, Artists ReEnvisioning Tomorrow (ART Inc.), held a meeting Saturday to gather community input for a planned 30,000 sqft production studio in Peoria using a state grant. State Rep. Jehan Gordon-Booth supports the project to keep creative talent local and said the group will schedule another meeting soon.  25 News Now

  • Peoria Federation of Teachers launched a t-shirt giveaway on Feb. 10 for district educators who shared their ‘I voted’ photos and candidate endorsements—the Illinois State Board of Elections clarified that the initiative, which does not require a specific vote, is under review by local prosecutors for potential vote buying.  25 News Now

  • The Manual Rams won the IHSA Class 2A boys basketball state championship by beating Quincy Notre Dame 60-55 at the State Farm Center in Champaign. Jaquan Brown led with 23 points as Manual secured its sixth title since 1997.  25 News Now
