- ➤ On March 15th at about 9:38 a.m., Peoria Police responded to the 700 block of Hightower and arrested 28-year-old Julius Wilson after he refused to exit his residence until officers negotiated his departure—then a search turned up a handgun that led to his arrest for unlawful firearm possession by a felon. - ➤ Survivors advocacy group SNAP demanded urgent action from the Catholic Diocese of Peoria on a priest accused of abuse—members delivered a letter at the diocese office urging Bishop Louis Tylka to visit affected parishes and warn parents, police, and the public about dangerous predators. WCBU
