- ➤ Emo's Ice Cream opened for the season Friday morning in Peoria by offering half-price ice cream & coney dogs from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. after postponing opening a day due to snow, preparing over 1,000 coney dogs and large orders for local suppliers while donating part of the sales to St. Jude and Susan G Komen. FINANCE NEWS
- ➤ Illinois residents who have not filed taxes must complete their return by April 15th to avoid a 5% monthly penalty on unpaid tax, but filing an extension gives them until October 15th to submit while keeping the penalty to 0.5% per month if payment is delayed - residents must use Form IL-505-I on MyTax Illinois since the extension does not delay the payment deadline.
