ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ One person died from a multi-vehicle crash that happened Saturday night near Forrest Hill and University in Peoria—three vehicles including a motorcycle were involved and Illinois State Police led the investigation after Peoria Police handled many calls. WMBD
- ➤ A 39-year-old man, Keith Seigel, died after he fled a dump truck crash in a ditch in Hanna City as deputies responded near 3rd Street and Farmington Road just before 10:45 p.m. Friday and later found him not breathing at a nearby business at 2:30 a.m. Saturday—witness accounts and camera footage suggest he fell from a retaining wall and struck his head while the investigation continues. - ➤ Gas prices in Peoria went up a little today as GasBuddy reported an average of $3.27 per gallon of unleaded—up 4.3 cents from last week—and AAA showed similar numbers for the Peoria-Pekin area. Analysts said the increase is due to the final steps in switching to a summer blend of gasoline. WMBD
