- ➤ The Peoria Public Schools Board of Education removed the interim tag from Ryan McElmurry’s title at Monday night’s meeting after he led the boys' basketball team to a 6-1 start. Although parents supported Orlando Edwards Sr., McElmurry, an assistant coach since 2019 (a former standout player), remains head coach. 25 News Now
