- ➤ Tuesday, the 38th Greater Peoria Honor Flight took off from Peoria International Airport with 72 Central Illinois veterans & their guardians for a tour of Washington, D.C. They returned around 9:30 p.m. with shuttle service available from the CEFCU parking lot starting at 8 p.m. WMBD
- ➤ Neighbors near Detweiller Marina are opposing the planned sale of part of the community land by the Detweiller Playground Trust — they urge support at today's Park District Board meetings at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to keep Caroline Street open and preserve public access for boating. 25 News Now
- ➤ On Monday night, veterans, guardians and donors gathered for an Honor Flight dinner — a pre-flight celebration that raised funds for travel to Washington, D.C. so veterans could visit memorials honoring their service. 25 News Now
