Tuesday, the 38th Greater Peoria Honor Flight took off from Peoria International Airport with 72 Central Illinois veterans & their guardians for a tour of Washington, D.C.

Neighbors near Detweiller Marina are opposing the planned sale of part of the community land by the Detweiller Playground Trust — they urge support at today's Park District Board meetings at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to keep Caroline Street open and preserve public access for boating.
