- ➤ District 150 held its second annual Multicultural Fair on Saturday at the Peoria Riverfront Museum terrace, where 177 teachers from 16 different countries shared their cultures through art, dance, and presentations—giving students a chance to learn about the world without leaving their classroom. - ➤ Traffic delays are expected at the University Street and Pioneer Parkway intersection today when University Street will be closed to through traffic at 7 a.m.—northbound drivers can only make right turns and southbound drivers must use Altorfer Drive, with the closure lasting five weeks. Other work includes closing northbound Washington Street at Oak Street through Friday, May 16 and a one-week closure of the ramp from Airport Road to I-474 ending Tuesday, May 13. WMBD
