- ➤ Damera Corporation, a Canadian electric bus maker, announced Tuesday it will invest $31.5 million in Peoria County by leasing a 55,000 square foot facility to produce its new 19-passenger eJEST buses. The project will create 90 full-time jobs over the next four years + the company will pay wages 120% higher than local rates while Illinois provides a $6 million tax credit to support the effort.
