A developer building a Dutch Bros Coffee shop at War Memorial Drive and University Street may receive a tax plan that covers up to $1.2 million in TIF expenses.

City Council will vote Tuesday on the deal, and the shop is set to open this fall.

On Friday, Tazewell County honored heroic horsemen from 1826 during its Juneteenth ceremony at Woodrow Cemetery in Cincinnati Township near Pekin.
