- ➤ Peoria will host a broad array of festivals and concerts this August that offer live music, food, and family fun. The event has raised $203 million over 48 years for childhood cancer research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Jim and Trudy Maloof St. Jude Midwest Affiliate at OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital— with $6,508,376 collected by St. Jude Runs, including $1,567,840 from the Memphis-to-Peoria run— bolstering future treatment efforts.
