24 and police lifted the lockdown by 11 a.m.—officials said it was a swatting incident and that increased police presence will continue to ensure safety.
Peoria Public Schools board approved hiring NOW CFO on Monday night to conduct overdue audits for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years.

Public hearings will be held next month in northwest Peoria County for the proposed Four Creeks Wind project.
