ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Peoria Police said a car struck an SUV near East McClure and North Peoria avenues on Friday night—causing the vehicle to roll over and injuring four people, one seriously—as the investigation into a potential hit-and-run continues. 25 News Now
- ➤ Peoria firefighters used extrication tools to free a victim trapped in a car that rolled on its side at North University Street and West Glen Avenue at 12:25 p.m. after the car ran a red light and hit a turning vehicle — an ambulance then took the victim for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 25 News Now

- ➤ Caterpillar shares dropped more than 3% on Friday after the company raised its tariff cost forecast to $1.5–1.8 billion due to higher expenses from U.S. tariffs. Analysts said the extra cost may stretch into next year as the company struggles to pass on the tariffs to its customers. WMBD
