Twenty events are scheduled across Peoria this September — including festivals, concerts, comedy shows and art fairs — with dates from Sept.

The Peoria Riverfront Museum received a $5 million donation from the Barton Family Foundation last week to create the Glen and Polly Barton Educational Endowment Fund.
The fund will support free student visits for more than 25,000 students this year.
Local high school football returns in Week 3 of the IHSA season with a Thursday game between Urbana and Peoria Notre Dame at Richwoods Stadium and a Friday matchup featuring Peoria High hosting Danville at Peoria Stadium.

Illinois CancerCare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging procedures that help physicians diagnose and monitor cancer and other conditions. This role works closely with patients, providers, and clinical staff to ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive care experience. Illinois Nuclear Medicine licensure, NMTCB and/or ARRT certification are required.
