Good morning, Peoria.

About 130 artists—ranging from local talent to those from other states—are displaying paintings and drawings at the Peoria Art Guild Fine Art Fair on the Riverfront, and the fair also features a children's area and a community mural project that will run until 4 p.m. today.

Yesterday, Plant Powered Peoria held its 'Beating the Drum' event at the Riverfront to raise awareness about lowering breast cancer risk by urging healthy practices—avoiding alcohol, exercising, and eating well.
