- ➤ Veterans and their loved ones rode the 5th and final Greater Peoria Honor Flight of 2025 from Peoria just before 7 a.m. The plane will land at Washington Dulles International Airport around 9:20 a.m. — marking a final tribute to local service members this year. 25 News Now
- ➤ Dream Center Peoria launched an emergency relief initiative on Tuesday to help families by partnering with more than 60 local churches to collect food, toiletries, and hygiene items. Donation drop-off sites are open Tuesday at Northwoods Community Church, Wednesday at RockChurch, and Thursday at New Life Christian Church — the program will continue until local needs subside. 25 News Now

- ➤ Mary Ellen Ulrich—director of Annie—explained that the musical tells a story of hope and strength. The show opens November 7 at Peoria Players Theatre with performers from across the region. WCBU
- ➤ On November 4, the Peoria Riverfront Museum announced a $1M gift that will fund an All-Illinois Student Pass for free admission starting in January for school students. Museum president John Morris said the donation came from three groups (local donors and foundations) and will let 2 million students view important documents like George Washington's Thanksgiving proclamation. - ➤ Peoria city officials refuted social media rumors that the Exposition Gardens site would be demolished or used for low-income housing—clarifying plans call for up to 200 market-rate homes on the 70-acre property, with no demolition scheduled as the city recently took possession.
