Let's go for a hike at Rocky Glen Park, one of Peoria's hidden gems located 15 minutes from downtown.
As we have volunteered with Rocky Glen Park in the past to help clean up their trails, let's enjoy a quiet nature walk on this Saturday as requested by our members.
The hike is approximately 1.5-2 hours depending on pace, and depending on the weather before, the waterfall might be going - which means a great photo op and amazing scenery!
We will meet in the Rocky Glen Parking Lot at 9am sharp and head in to the trails, hiking to about 11. We will then head to a nice spot for lunch in Peoria after.
Bring a water bottle, dress appropriately for the weather, bring some waterproof shoes, and snacks if you are one of those that enjoys trail mix.
